Stainless Steel 316 Fin Tube exhibit features like corrosion resistance, durability, weldability, and good formability, higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. SS 316L Finned Tubes have good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 870 °C and in continuous service to 925 °C and is immune from sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components.

Stainless Steel 316L Fin Tube are used in various applications such as heating (gas-fired boilers, condensing boilers, flue gas condensers), chemical engineering (gas coolers and heater, process cooler), power plants (air cooler, cooling tower), mechanical and automotive engineering (oil coolers, mine coolers, air coolers for diesel engines), and nuclear engineering (uranium enrichment plants).
